Kenneth Dale Thomas
Kenneth Dale Thomas, age 83, died Thursday, February 27, 2014 @ the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. He was born February 27, 1931 in Quinter, Kansas the son of Dale Felix and Velma Britton Thomas. He was a farmer and had been a resident of Garden City since 1967.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Garden City, Kansas and was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
On August 20, 1950 he married Norma Sperling in Scott City, Kansas. She survives.
Other Survivors Include:
- Four Sons, Kenton Thomas of Fort Worth, Kansas,
- Mike (& Vicki) Thomas of Garden City, Kansas
- Rick Thomas of Garden City, Kansas and
- Kevin (& Lynette) Thomas of Holcomb, Kansas;
- Ten Grandchildren and Ten Great-Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, One Brother, Kendal Thomas and One Grandson, Ian Thomas.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:30pm on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church in Garden City, Kansas.
Friends may call from 10:00am-8:00pm on Tuesday at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas.
Interment will be held in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City, Kansas.
