GCCC Still in High Demand
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) It is a mix bag for Garden City Community College, although enrollment is down for the spring semester from 1,872 in 2013 to 1,845 this year students are taking more hours. Students are taking an overall total of 19,365 total credit hours more than the goal of 19,200 the school set at the beginning of the semester. All toll that is a 3 percent increase. College President Dr. Herbert Swender says Garden City Community College is experiencing an increase when most colleges have seen a decline in both enrollment and hours taken.
