State AG Says Target Now Offering Free Credit Monitoring

Topeka, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Customers who shop at Target regularly and are concerned that their personal information and identity have been compromised you can relax.  Target is offering a free year of credit monitoring for those affected by the recent hacking into their computer system.  State Attorney General Derek Schmidt says you can sign up for the service through Experian’s ProtectMY ID at creditmonitoring.target.com.  Included in the plan the company provides a copy of a customer’s consumer report, identity theft insurance and access to personal assistance.
