Shaddix; Buffs shine at state–audio
Garden City, Kan (westernkansasnews.com)-Is it fair to say that Abbi Shaddix got redemption for 2012?
In what turned out to be a gorgeous day in Western Kansas, the senior fired a 74; good for second place in the 2013 6A Girls Golf State Tournament at Buffalo Dunes.
“I struggled a bit on the front,” Shaddix said afterwards. “But there was a bit of a backup on 10, and I saw our Athletic Director Mr. Segovia. He told me to own the back nine-so I used that as extra motivation.”
Shaddix finished behind defending state champ Audrey Judd from Olathe Northwest.
