YMCA youth sports deadlines approaching

 Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) YMCA youth sports deadlines are quickly approaching at both the Garden City and Dodge City locations.

For Garden City the youth volleyball deadline for grades K-6 is August 22. The youth flag football deadline is August 29 for grades K-2. Fees for both programs are $21 for members, $42 for program participants/non-members, and $15 with proof of free/reduced school lunches. Players are required to purchase a reversible jersey at RT Sporting Goods or The Good Sport. Registrations made after the deadlines will include a $10 extended registration fee. For Dodge City the flag football deadline for grades K-2 is August 22. The youth volleyball deadline is August 22 for grades K-6. Fees for both programs are $22 for members, $40 for program participants/non-members, and $15 with proof of free/reduced school lunches. Registrations made after the deadline will include a $10 extended registration fee. Players are required to purchase a reversible jersey at the YMCA Welcome Center. Group water safety classes begin for ages 6 months through 14 years on Aug. 28 at the Garden City Family YMCA. The deadline to register is Aug. 22.
