Work resumes on US 50 in Dodge City

Garden City, Kansas(westernkansasnews.com) The Kansas Department of Transportation will resume work at U.S. 50 and Fairway Drive on the north side of Dodge City on November 27.

This will complete the addition of a signal and turning lanes to both the east and westbound lanes of U.S. 50 allowing access to Kliesen Street to the north and Fairway Drive to the South. Improvements are expected to be completed by December 15, weather permitting.

U.S. 50 will be reduced to one lane with a minimal delay during the project. KDOT urges drivers to be alert, pay attention to all work zone warning signs, slow down when approaching a work zone and be prepared to stop.
