Woman Avoids Deer; Dies in One Car Crash
Protection, KS (westernkansasnews.com) State troopers report a 62 year old woman from Ashland died in a rollover accident Saturday night around 7:30, two miles west of Protection on US Highway 160. The driver identified as Peggy Snodgrass swerved into a ditch to avoid a deer ejecting the woman who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
