Winter Storm Warning impacting most of the area

The National Weather Service office has upgraded most of the area to a Winter Storm Warning until 6 pm CT Sunday. Also, a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the western portions of the area.
Heavy mixed precipitation is expected, with freezing drizzle & freezing rain exptected to later turn in to snow tonight. Total snow accumulations could range from 4-8 inches across the area. Winds could gust as high as 50 mph, causing blowing and drifting snow.
Travel is strongly discouraged. If you have to travel, stay up to date with the current road conditions at kandrive.gov.
