The Window is Closing on Signing Up for Healthcare
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) You have heard it before that March 31st is the deadline to sign up for health coverage if you don’t have it now. Health insurance broker Richard McNaught says that deadline is firm, the only exception is if you have a qualifying event.
Otherwise, you will have to wait until open enrollment next fall. McNaught says the website healthcare.gov is more stable than it was a few months ago, still with increased traffic close to the deadline allow yourself extra time to complete the forms.
