Wichita Police Nab Liberal Shooting Suspect
Liberal, KS (westernkansasnews.com) A man wanted for a shooting in the early morning hours of June 6th was arrested Friday in Wichita. The shooting at 188 W. Pancake injured a 27 year old man and 40 year old woman both from Liberal. The woman later identified as Josephine Vasquez died from her injuries.
A great deal of caution was taken into bringing the suspect Christopher Hoskins into custody. Both Wichita Police and the US Marshal’s Office teamed up to make the arrest. Hoskins is now being held in the Sedgwick County jail on 500-thousand dollars bond.
