Wheatland Broadband and kansasprepfootball.com to host Photo Contest for second year

Scott City, KAN (Wheatland Broadband)–September marks the beginning of the high school football season for teams across the state of Kansas. Wheatland Broadband and kansasprepfootball.com have once again teamed up to make this season one to remember for fans and teams alike. August 30th marks the beginning of the second annual Fall Football Photo Contest. The contest will run for the nine week regular season, August 30th through October 28th, nine weekly winners will be chosen by Wheatland Broadband and
kansasprepfootball.com. Then the nine finalists will square off in a public vote to determine the grand prize winner. Grand Prize winnings include; 6 months of free internet provided by Wheatland Broadband, a $200 cash prize and a prize pack valued at $200 from KJIL radio. Additional sponsors of the contest include Seminole Energy Service, ONEOK of Scott City, Mix 94 radio, J&R Car and Truck Center and State Farm, The Michael Trout Agency.

Last year’s winning picture was submitted by Chrissy Rayl of Osawatomie, KS. Tim McGonagle of kansasprepfootball.com pitched the idea to Wheatland Broadband last year and is excited about the second season of the contest, “Last year’s contest was a lot of fun. There were a lot of good pictures submitted from all over the state. We were surprised by how many entries we got from the Eastern part of the state. We really hope to get more pictures from folks here in Western Kansas this year.” Contest participants are limited to one entry per week with a weekly deadline of Sunday at midnight.
