Water’s Crystal Ball
(westernkansasnews.com) Topeka, KS–The Kansas Water Office is in the middle of constructing their five year plan for state water use. Governor Sam Brownback wanted a much larger perspective and so he has a panel focused on coming up with a 50 year water use plan. Sue Metzger with the KWO believes constructing this long-term plan allows the state flexibility.
The panel’s report is due next November.
