Water Vision’s Final Draft Receives High Marks
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Governor Brownback unveiled his fifty year water vision for the state of Kansas a couple of weeks ago, but the process took several years tom complete. Mark Rude, Executive Director of Groundwater Management District 3 is comfortable the plan works because the information gathered was sound.
Rude complimented the Governor for his drive in taking on such a big intitiative.
The plan allows flexibility and local control over resources in preserving water supplies.
