Water Use Down During Peak Summer Months
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) We use water for a variety of different reason to bathe, saturate our lawn or for cooking. Whatever the reason Garden City Utilities Manager Mike Muirhead says we are using less.
Typically water usage is always a lot higher in the summer.
The link to irrigation results in higher water consumption. The city keeps a close eye on how much water is used through it’s water conservation plan that has been in place since April, 2015.
