WAC schools sweep competition at state in unified bowling
Garden City, KS (Western Kansas News) – Western Athletic Conference schools dominated the state tournament for unified bowling held earlier this week at Westridge Lanes in Topeka. Places 1-4 went to WAC teams with Great Bend taking the crown over 2023 state champion Garden City.
Great Bend led the scoring with 1,110 pins across the six games played for the state title. Hays came in second with a 945 total, Liberal took third with a 936 total, and the defending champs took fourth with an 857 total. Olathe West took fifth place with an 855, only a two-pin difference between 4th and 5th place.
