Virginia Lee Kouba
Virginia Lee Kouba, age 71, of Elkhart, Kansas died February 3, 2015 at Morton County Hospital in Elkhart, Kansas. She was born December 16, 1943, in Rocky Ford, Colorado, the daughter of Lee and Pauline (Ulery) Donegan.
Virginia grew up in La Junta, Colorado. A cake decorator for Albertson’s, she spent a number of years living in Florida.
Survivors include three sons, Sam Denton Jr. and wife Rachel of Harper, Kansas, Joe Denton and wife Cyndi of Hixon, British Columbia, Canada, Bill Denton and wife Sarah of Maple City, Kansas; daughter, Sky Pate and husband Jeff of Elkhart, Kansas; brother, David Donegan of Dalhart, Texas; 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Virginia is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Walter, Larry and Russell; and sister, Pat Walters.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Garnand Funeral Home, PO Box 854, Elkhart, KS 67950.
