Veta moved with her family to Kearny County when she was 6 years old. The family moved to Garden City and she graduated from Garden City High School and attended Business College in Wichita. She was a talented seamstress, making most of her own clothes, and an avid reader. Till the end she always had a book in progress. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, 1 Daughter- Marilyn K. Moler Rundell, 1 Brother- Ronald Keith & 1 Sister- Leta Keith Morris.
