Although the woman had to smash a window in saving the child, Garden City Police sergeant Michael Radke does not want that to be the first action you take.
Temperatures this weekend are expect to flirt with 100 degrees. For a child in a car the temperatures can rise well above 100 quickly. If evidence supports drastic action, charges are not likely for a person breaking into the car in this circumstance.
