USD 457 to consider teacher raises
Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) The Garden City school board will be considering raises for all district teachers at Monday nights meeting.
Teachers recently approved an agreement that features a $1,500 increase to base pay and bonuses based on years of service in the district.
Teachers with five to nine years of service would get a $500 bonus; teachers with 10 to 14 years would get $700; 15 to 19 years would get $1,200 and 20 years or more would get $2,000.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the Educational Support Center at 1205 Fleming St.
