USD 457 retirement receptions
There are a number of retirement receptions planned during the week at a number of schools The receptions are to celebrate the years of dedicated service of staff that are retiring from the district.
Garden City High School will host a reception for Sidni Musick on Wednesday, May 16th, at 3:30 p.m. in the Public Service Academy Student Resource Area, 2720 Buffalo Way Blvd. Musick has served 26 years of dedicated service in the district.
The Garden City Alternate Education Center will host a reception for Mark Ronn on Wednesday, May 16th, from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. in the cafeteria, 1312 N. 7th Street. Ronn has served 28 years of dedicated service in the district.
Bernadine Sitts Intermediate Center will host a reception for Terry Powell and Penny Douglass on Wednesday, May 16th, from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. in the library, 3101 Belmont Place. Douglass has served 11 years in the district and Powell has served 26 years of dedicated service in the district.
Garden City High School will host a reception for Sherry Irsik on Thursday, May 17th, from 3:30 – 4:20 p.m. in the Freshman Academy Commons Area, 2720 Buffalo Way Blvd. Irsik has provided 11 years of dedicated service in the district.
Charles O. Stones Intermediate Center will host a reception for Dena Purdy and Joyce Virgil on Thursday, May 17th, from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. in the cafeteria, 401 Jennie Barker Road. Purdy has served 15 years in the district and Virgil has served 18 years of dedicated years of service in the district.
