USD 457 Music Concerts Scheduled

A number of music concerts are scheduled during the coming week at Garden City Public Schools.  The free concerts are open to the public.

Georgia Matthews Elementary School will present a 3^rd and 4^th grade music program on Monday, April 30^th, at 6:30 p.m. in the school’s gymnasium, 111 Johnson Street.

The Garden City High School jazz band will present a concert on Monday, April 30^th, at 7:30 p.m. in the GCHS auditorium, 2720 Buffalo Way Blvd.

Jennie Wilson Elementary School will present a 1^st and 2^nd grade concert on Tuesday, May 1^st at 7:00 p.m. in the school’s gymnasium, 1401 Harding Avenue.

The “String Fever” orchestra concert will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1^st, in the Horace J. Good Middle School gymnasium, 1412 N. Main Street.   The district’s 5^th-8^th grade orchestra students represent seven schools in the concert.

Gertrude Walker Elementary School will present a 3^rd and 4^th grade spring concert on Thursday, May 3^rd, at 6:30 p.m. in the school’s gymnasium, 805 W. Fair Street.

The Garden City High School band will present a concert on Thursday, May 3^rd, at 7:30 p.m. in the GCHS auditorium, 2720 Buffalo Way Blvd
