USD 457 Board and Teachers Agree to Improved Salary Structure
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The teachers and school board at USD 457 in Garden City have reached an agreement on a salary scale for next year. The teachers passed the earlier agreement 300-36 in voting that ended May 9th. Two major changes to the contract include $450 added to the base salary for teachers and 1,000 stipend for those teachers endorsed for teaching English as a second language. The school district will also adjust percentage contributions to KPERS based on years of service.
