USD 457: Another threat made towards Horace Good Middle School
GARDEN CITY, Kan. — For the second time in the last week, Horace Good Middle School will see heavy police presence on Tuesday after a threat was made towards the school on Monday evening.
According to a release from HGMS Principal Brad Springston, the school administration was made aware of a “potential threat of a violent act being made towards the school” this was made on a social media platform.
Springston said that HGMS and USD 457 are cooperating with the investigation that is being conducted by the Garden City Police Department. There have been no arrests made at this point in time.
The release also said that “increased law enforcement presence will be at the school throughout the day.”
This was the second threat made against the school in the last week after a similar one was made on Wednesday, April 17th.
