US Attorney: Woman Charged with Giving Firearms to Hesston Shooter
Hesston, KS (westernkansasnews.com) US Attorney Barry Grissom has charged a 28 year old woman from Newton with a charge of knowingly giving a firearm to a felon a federal offense connected with Thursday’s Hesston shooting that killed three and wounded 14.
Sarah Hopkins is accused of giving several firearms found in possession of the shooter Cedric Ford who was eventually shot and killed by Hesston Police. If convicted Hopkins faces 10 years in prison and 250,000 dollar fine.
