US Attorney: Indictment Accuses Two Men of Selling “Papers” For Money
Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) US Attorney Barry Grissom says two Dodge City residents one from Mexico and the other a US citizen have been indicted by a federal grand jury for selling phony birth certificates, social security cards and photo ids to illegal immigrants. After obtaining their papers the undocumented workers would look for employment at Southwest Kansas meat packing plants.
34 year old Ronald Davila-Vega is expected to make his initial court appearance Friday morning before a US Magistrate judge. 54 year old Sindy Herrera-Pacheco is in the Ford County jail and will make his first court appearance in Wichita next week. Both are looking at a maximum 20 years in jail.
