US Attorney Says Former Bank Employee Sentenced
Ulysses, KS (westernkansasnews.com) US Attorney Barry Grissom says a former employee at Western States Bank in Ulysses was sentenced to three years probabtion and ordered to pay $24,000 dollars in restitution for her involvement in an embezzlement scheme. 60 year old Linda Wise entered a guilty plea to one count of theft as part of a deal with prosecutors. Three others who also involved in the plot Amber Gutierrez, Ashley Cravens and Hattie Wiginton will be sentenced later this month.
