US Attorney: Man Pleads Guilty in Plot to Bomb Ft. Riley
Manhattan, KS (westernkansasnews.com) US Attorney Barry Grissom says a 21 year old man from Topeka has pleaded guilty of attempting to detonate a car bomb on the Fort Riley Military base in Manhattan.
As part of a plea agreement John T. Booker Junior is expected to receive 30 years in prison. Authorities say Booker met with an undercover FBI agent who the man believed would help him carry out the attack. Sentencing date will be announced at a later time.
