US Attorney: Man From Elkhart Pleads Guilty to Child Porn Charges
Elkhart, KS (westernkansasnews.com) US Attorney Barry Grissom says A 69 year old man from Elkhart has pleaded guilty to two counts of distribution and one count for possession of child pornography. Authorities say Daren Coen used a file share program on his computer that was spotted by an investigator with the Wichita Police Department. A search warrant was then obtained to search Coen’s computer.
Sentencing is scheduled for February 29th. Coen is expected to receive a prison term between 5-20 years and could be fined up to 250,000 dollars on each count.
