US Attorney Beall: PA Erskin Pleads Guilty to Federal Charge
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) A physician assistant from Garden City has pleaded guilty in federal court to a charge of receiving and dispensing misbranded drugs. 53 year old Joel Erskin was accused of giving patients injections of Botox, but did not inform them the drugs were purchased in Canada and did not meet federal standards. Erskin could receive a year in jail and 100-thousand fine when he’s sentenced December 20th.
There is also a separate lawsuit filed against Erskin for misrepresenting himself as a medical doctor. The suit tied up in the civil courts.
