US 56 Road Improvements Are Getting Underway
Ensign, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Construction season is already underway, but more is being added in starting the month of June. The latest round will work on US 56 through En-sign and Montezuma. KDOT spokesperson Kirk Hutchinson.
Heavy truck volume also causes a deterioriation of the roadway and with elevators in both communities that becomes a concern. Hutchinson says this project could extend into the winter months.
