Upgrade to 911 System Expected to Help All

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Dispatchers are the first ones who take your 911 call and they will soon have a new tool. The system Computer Aided Dispatch is about to go through an upgrade. Kathy Fairchild is Support Services Director and is confident the improvements will make everything user friendly.

The new system will be in place next April. There is another benefit for dispatchers and law enforcement that is coming. 

Fairchild says police reports could be broken down neighborhood by neighborhood as part of this new software.
