Update: Dodge City man arrested for murder at motel, woman identified
Dodge City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) An 18 year old Dodge City male has been arrested for first degree murder and aggravated robbery.
Sunday March 4 at 10:30 a.m. Dodge City Police and Ford County Sheriff’s office found the body of a 27 year old female from Howell, KS at a local motel. The woman had been killed by a single gunshot wound to the head.
Update: According to KAKE, the woman has been identified by family members as Rose Brungardt.
The DCPD will file the charges with the Ford County Attorney’s Office today. This is the only information that will be released at this time. Although an arrest has been made, detectives are still conducting follow up on the case.
