Ulysses Rivera Jurado
Ulysses Rivera Jurado, 26, died Sunday, October 16, 2016 in Tulsa from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
He was born August 5, 1990 at Liberal, the son of Guadalupe G. Rivera and Martha Patricia Jurado. He was a longtime Dodge City resident and a graduate of Dodge City High School. He moved to Tulsa in 2016 and worked as an auto body repairman.
He attended the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Dodge City and enjoyed rollerblading, bike riding, motorcycles and playing music.
Survivors include: his mother, Dodge City; his father, Odessa, Texas; his girlfriend, Natalie Evans, Owasso, Oklahoma; his unborn son, Holden Ulysses Rivera Evans; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Vigil service will be 7:00 pm Sunday, October 23, 2016 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dodge City. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Monday at the church with Fr. Wesley Schawe presiding. Visitation will be from noon to 5:00 pm Sunday at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City. Cremation will follow the Mass.
