U.S. 50 Resurfacing from Cimarron to Dodge City Rescheduled
Resurfacing of U.S. 50 from Cimarron to Dodge City has been rescheduled due to contractor scheduling conflicts.
The project is now set to begin on Monday, August 7.
U.S. 50 will be reduced to one lane guided by a pilot car during working hours with an approximate delay of 15 minutes during the project. The project is expected to be completed by late October weather permitting. KDOT urges drivers to be alert, pay attention to all work zone warning signs, slow down when approaching a work zone and be prepared to stop.
APAC Kansas Inc. Shears is the primary contractor on the project with an approximate construction cost of $3.1 million.
