U.S. 50/83 mill and overlay project to begin in Garden City

Crews will begin a mill and overlay project on U.S. 50/83 in Garden City on Wednesday, July 17.  The project includes U.S. 50/83 Business from Mary Street to the bypass.     

Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with flaggers in place.  KDOT urges drivers to be alert, pay attention to all work zone warning signs, and be prepared to stop. 

Shilling Construction Co. of Manhattan is the contractor on this $248,800 project which is expected to be completed in July, weather permitting.
