Two injured in Hodgeman County accident

Hodgeman County, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–A two-vehicle accident just before 8:30 a.m. Thursday injured two, one and a half miles west of Jetmore in Hodgeman County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol report, a 2007 Sterling Straight truck driven by 44-yearold Aaron Anthony Nari of Ness City was northbound on Hodgeman County 216 Road, approaghing Kansas Highway 156, when he started to cross 156 highway and struck a westbound 2009 Chevrolet Silvarado driven by 34-year-old Cin Villalobos-Hernandez of Great Bend. The Chevrolet came to rest on 216 Road north of K156 Highway.

Villalobos was taken to Hodgeman County Hospital for suspected serious injuries,and passenger, 40-year-old Jessica Juana Villalobos of Great Bend, was transported to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita for suspected serious injuries. Lari was not injured.

The KHP report said that all three involved were wearing seatbelts.
