Two GC men arrested on multiple charges following vehicle pursuit
Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) Tuesday night Garden City Police were patrolling the area of 300 E Bellevue Ave. The officer observed a silver Dodge Stratus traveling north on 3rd St. driven by Marco Rodriguez (19) Rodriguez held an active municipal warrant for his arrest and was not wearing his seatbelt.
The officer attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle at 3rd and Long St. The vehicle failed to stop for officers, and a vehicle pursuit was initiated. During the pursuit, the suspect vehicle struck the curb at Windmill Dr. and Harvest Lane damaging the vehicle; the vehicle came to a stop at Windy View Dr. and Pearly Jane Ave. The driver, Rodriguez was arrested without incident. The passenger in the vehicle, Brandon Elad (20) was also arrested without incident. Elad was carrying a handgun on his person at the time of arrest.
A search of the vehicle revealed suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
The suspects were arrested and lodged in the Finney County Jail and could face the possible charges of:

Possession of Marijuana with intent to distribute
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Driving While License Suspended
Driving under the Influence
Interference with a Law Enforcement Officer
Fleeing and Eluding
Leaving the Scene of an Accident
Multiple traffic violations
Elad
Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Criminal Carrying of a Weapon
