Two Conqs moving on

DODGE CITY, Kan. – Haden Houska and Trent Troxell each signed a National Letter of Intent with Southwestern Oklahoma State University, an NCAA Division II institution in Weatherford.

Houska (Enid, Okla./Enid HS) led the Conquistadors with 216 at-bats. The sophomore batted. 310, knocked in 30 runs and notched 67 singles.

In only 128 at-bats Troxell (Ft. Cobb, Okla./Ft. Cobb-Broxton HS) hit .336 and knocked in 22 runs. The first baseman also recorded three triples.

A total of nine Conqs have inked scholarships at the NCAA Division I and Division II levels.
