Two arrests made at vacant Dusty Trail Inn
GARDEN CITY, Kan. — Garden City Police, Finney County Sheriffs and the Kansas Highway Patrol were all dispatched to the former Dusty Trail Inn on Monday morning just before 8:30 a.m.
The call came at 8:21 a.m. when a citizen had seen two individuals in the building. The officers responded to the vacant hotel, located at 2808 N. Taylor Plaza.
The Garden City Police Department arrested Steven A. Carr, 21, and Thomas A. Jackman, 47. The two are currently being held in the Finney County Jail. Jackman was charged with allegations of burglary and possessing a stimulant and Carr on allegations of burglary, interfering with a law enforcement officer and possessing drug paraphernalia.
