Tuesday is Last Day to Register For Primary
(westernkansasnews.com) Today is the deadline to register for the August 2nd primary. If you have never registered in the state of Kansas before, Kearny County Clerk Jana Jenkinson says you need to bring some documentation along for proof of citizenship.
There is still some confusion because the issue is tied up in the courts, but for now the requirement stands. Also do not worry about choosing between Democrats and Republicans at least for now.
Some offices will be open beyond 5pm, just check with your county clerk. Early voting starts Wednesday.
