Tribune man dies in rollover accident
Wichita County, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–A Tribune man died in a rollover accident just after 12:30 am Sunday morning.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 54-year-old Walter J. Waldren was wesbound on Kansas Highway 96 about seven miles west of the Kansas Highway 25 intersection in a 1980 Ford F350 pickup, when he left the roadway into the north ditch, overcorrected back onto the roadway, entering the south ditch turning clockwise. The pickup then rolled and Waldren was ejected.
Waldren was pronounced deceased at the scene and was taken to Price & Sons Funeral Home, according to the KHP report.
