Trial Ends in Murder Verdict For George
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) A Finney County jury has found 34 year old Michael George, Junior guilty of first degree murder in the shooting death of 21 year old Karlton Waechter outside a mobile home park on April 19, 2015.
Waechter was shot three times and died later that night at St. Catherine Hospital. A bullet wound to the head was determined to have been the fatal shot that killed Waechter. No sentencing date has been set for George.
