Tobacco Age Now 21 in Garden City
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The age to purchase tobacco in Garden City was raised to 21 from 18 on July 1st.
The city commission was initially approached by the Garden City High School Live Well Committee who introduced the idea. City Manager Matt Allen on the process.
The only change to tobacco purchase laws is the age. Allen says those opposed to the new law have options to try to change it back.
