Three injured in Lane Co. wreck
Lane County, KS(westernkansasnews.com) Three southwest Kansas residents were injured in a two vehicle accident in Lane county Thursday afternoon.
The accident occurred on K4 4 miles east of K23. A pickup tried to overtake a semi while it was turning left onto a field road, the pickup struck the semi on the front drivers side causing the pickup to roll once.
Both occupants of the pickup were injured, 72-year-old Gerard Knehans and Gayle Knehans, 72, both of Garden City. Gayle was taken to Hays Medical Center and Gerard was taken to Lane County Hospital. The driver of the semi Christopher Lawrence, 39, of Scott City was taken to Lane County hospital.
