Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) While the ground was too soggy to walk on Tuesday for an actual tour in a construction zone, city leaders did the next best thing in taking a virtual tour of the new Dairy Farmers of America milk processing plant in Garden City currently under construction. City Manager Matt Allen says there were a couple of things he was surprised to hear about.

If all goes according to plan the new DFA plant will be up and running by the end of the year.
