The Lady Busters Split With Butler the Top Team in the Jayhawk West
The Garden City Community College Lady Busters Softball team earned a split in their home match-up with the Butler Lady Grizzlies, the top team in the Jayhawk West, collecting a 1-0 win in game one, but lost the night-cap 4-1 in the 8th. The Lady Busters with an overall record at 25-13 are now tied with Seward County for 2nd in the Jayhawk West with 6-4 records, while the Butler Lady Grizzlies remain at the top with an 8-2 mark. Up next for Lady Busters is a non-conference match-up on Friday at home with North Platte.
