The History of US 83 Comes Alive in New Book

(westernkansasnews.com) He grew up in Nebraska and lived on US 83 a road that stretches from Mexico to Canada and now has developed the history of this famous route into a book “The Last American Highway”.  Stew Magnuson’s research was all done by people willing to tell their tales, good news is these stories hit home.

Magnuson will give presentations later this week about his travels on US 83 beginning with an event at the Finney County Historical Museum Tuesday night.
