The Bye Week Helped Busters Prepare for Air Force Prep-Audio
Garden City, KS (www.westernkansasnews.com) – Coming early in the season on 2012, the Kansas Jayhawk Conference bye week may have been at just the right time for the Garden City Community College Football team needing to tighten up some fundamentals of tackling. The Busters are 2-1 and 1-1 in Conference as they travel to Colorado Springs on Saturday to face the Air Force Prep Huskies who are 0-3 on the season with a narrow 29-23 loss to Coffeyville a couple of weeks ago. The Huskies have been off for a couple of weeks as well with some open dates in their schedule. Busters Head Coach Jeff Tatum talks about their return to basics and the focus on stopping the triple option offense of the Huskies.
