Teresa “Terry” Morrow

Teresa “Terry” Morrow went to meet her Savior on April 14, 2015. Teresa Marie (Herrington) Morrow was born on February 6, 1932 in Breckenridge, Missouri to Claude Abner and Hermine (Rothacher) Herrington. 

Teresa was united in marriage with James Judson Morrow III on September 11, 1954 in Liberty, Missouri. She grew up in Breckenridge, Missouri then graduated from Research Hospital Nursing program in Kansas City, Missouri. In 1963 Teresa and Jim moved to Kansas, residing in the towns of Norton, Larned, and Dodge City where she worked as a nurse in various settings. Her hobbies include but are not limited to genealogy, handcrafts, yard work, and antiquing. In later years she stayed connected with family and friends through the Internet and social media. 

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Dodge City and the Kansas Genealogical Society. 

Teresa is survived by two daughters, Marla Worley (Dan) of Ft. Collins, Colorado and Lori Clayton (David) of Ottawa, Kansas; four grandchildren, Matthew Worley (Cara), Libby Dennis (Devon), Emily Hamm (Tim), and Zachary Clayton; four great-grandchildren, Reese and Chloe Worley, Bowen Hamm, and Theodore Dennis. She is also survived by two brothers, Jack Herrington and Stanley Herrington (Teresa); one brother-in-law, Keith Moorshead; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Mose and Hazel Bosler (Tim) and many cherished nieces, nephews and cousins. 

She was preceded in death by her husband on July 17, 2006; one sister, Shirley Moorshead; one sister-in-law, Joyce Herrington; and one brother-in-law Pete Mose. 

Family will receive friends on Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Swaim Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials are payable to Kansas Genealogical Society in care of the funeral home. Burial service will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Breckenridge, Missouri on Saturday, April 18 at 10:00 AM. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.
