Teddy Bear Giveaway Could Hold Key to Saving Your Child

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Another big event is set for Thursday night in Garden City. With the recent trend nationally of leaving children in a hot car, bears will be given out as a visual reminder to take your child with you.

Meghan McFee of the Finney County Safe Kids Coalition is calling this “Back Seat Bear”. Putting this together came just ahead of National Heat Stroke Awareness Day.

The event goes from 5-7pm at Dillions West, Wal-mart, Walgreens and Westlake Ace Hardware.
